Board of Directors

STBC is governed by a Board of Directors. The chairpersons of the Pinellas Democratic and Republican parties serve as ex-officio members by virtue of their positions. The other board members are elected to three-year terms, with roughly one-third of the positions coming up for election each year at the annual meeting in December.

Interested in Serving? - Every year in the Fall, the Nominations Committee reviews nomination applications to serve 3 year terms on the Board of Directors.  To be eligible to serve, nominees must have been a member for at least one year, attended 25% of the current year luncheon programs, and you must not be currently serving on the Board.  In addition, it is desirable for you to demonstrate leadership capabilities, and possess the ability to speak in public without fainting.

Club members are encouraged to recommend people they feel would be good directors.  You can even submit your own name! Nominees are asked to fill out a brief questionnaire Tiger_Bay_Application_-_Board_Members.pdf and asked to submit a one page bio/resume.  These names and information will be reviewed by the Nominating Committee chaired by the Immediate Past President and comprised of current board members.
